Back Pain

Chris successfully treats all neck and back pain, helping people with stiff joints, trapped nerves, sciatica, spinal instability, and poor mobility. He used to work at the Spinal Foundation in Harley St, where many of his clients were able to avoid surgery thanks to his carefully considered, detailed spinal treatment and rehabilitation.

A physiotherapy consultation with Chris for a spinal condition usually lasts 60 minutes. It will involve a detailed assessment of your movement patterns, muscle recruitment and muscle imbalances, followed by a suggested pathway of treatment that may include a combination of manual therapy, joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue release, including myofascial release, trigger point work, both Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Intra-Muscular Stimulation (IMS), Deep Oscillation Therapy (DOT). These are all integrated with a detailed exercise rehabilitation programme which will help you regain function and ultimately a return to your normal life pattern or sport.

Follow-on treatment is for 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the condition and individual requirements.

PhysioActive

Chris is undoubtedly the best Physio I have ever dealt with. I couldn’t speak more highly of him during my time as a professional rugby player at London Irish. His knowledge and the way he dealt with things was second to none. He was a man you would respect, trust and had strong leadership qualities. I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Chris and his team.
